September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month
On Tuesday, September 16, the Prostate and Genitourinary Cancer Program at Norris Cotton Cancer Center will host a Prostate Cancer Awareness Day from 2:30 to 7:30 pm at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. Presentations will explain prostate cancer and how it is diagnosed and treated, and will cover the latest options in surgery, radiation therapy, and hormone and chemotherapy for advanced prostate cancers. Refreshments, educational exhibits, and tours of Radiation Oncology and the da Vinci® surgical system also will be available.

Free Prostate Cancer Screenings
Monday, September 22, 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Free prostate cancer screenings are available on Monday, September 22, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm in Urology (5B). Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Pre-registration for screening and information about the screening process will be available at the Prostate Cancer Awareness Day on September 16 from 2:30 to 6:00 pm.
