Biography:
Dr. Davis received his BA in 1978 from Middlebury College and his MD in 1986 from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. After completing an internal medicine residency in 1989 at the Medical Center Hospital of Vermont (Burlington) he did his clinical and research fellowship at both the Harvard Medical School and Beth Israel Hospital. After graduating from the fellowship program in 1992, Dr. Davis joined the DHMC faculty as staff hematologist-oncologist at the VA Hospital in White River Junction, VT. In 1994 Dr. Davis joined the Outreach Program at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and in 1996 he became Director of the Hem/Onc Fellowship Program and Director of the Oncology Outreach Program.

Research Interests:
Dr. Davis' major areas of research interest are: 1. Combined modality therapy of Head and Neck cancers; 2. Health care delivery system improvements: decentralized subspecialty care in rural areas; 3. Strategies for cancer education for fellows and continuing medical education for non-specialist physicians; 4. Computers in cancer care and education.
