The Comprehensive Breast Cancer Program
Medical Director: E. Dale Collins, MD
Scientific Director: James DiRenzo, PhD
The Comprehensive Breast Cancer Program provides compassionate care for breast patients, both men and women. While we have a regional and national reputation, our focus is always on you, the patient.
We strive to treat you as a whole person, not a disease, and we strongly encourage patient and family participation in decision making and care. One way we do this is through the Center for Shared Decision Making, whose staff is trained to help you make difficult healthcare decisions.
Our services include:
- Advanced radiation treatments, such as MammoSite® and other partial-breast radiation therapies
- Access to clinical trials of new treatments
- For patients with a strong family history of breast cancer, genetic risk assessment through our Familial Cancer Program (Cancer Risk Assessment)
